It was a great day for Jacob to escape from his arduous life to visit his little sister who lives in Grandsville, which was only about an hour and a half away. He rented a car and made sure that it had a built in GPS (Global Positioning System) so that he could find his way home if ever he got lost.
Then he entered Grandsville in the GPS and set off to his road trip. As Jacob went through a tunnel, all of the sudden there was a static, then the GPS started to malfunction!
“Come on! Come on!” Jacob grunted while tapping the GPS. Luckily the tapping somehow helped and the GPS began to work again.
Jacob was so excited because he was fast approaching the red blinking dot on the GPS. But at the same time, he was wondering why it took him longer to get there than expected. Nevertheless, he brushed that thought out of his mind, and pictured how his sister would react because of his surprise visit.
From the distance, Jacob was sure that he caught sight of his sister, Jenny. But he found it unusual for her to wear a chamberlain outfit when Halloween was still a few months away.
When Jenny glanced at the approaching car, she saw her brother. She hugged and greeted him. “What brought you here in Cowsville, big brother?” asked the curious sister.
“Cowsville? What do you mean Cowsville? Isn’t this Grandsville? I even entered Grandsville in the car’s GPS!” said the very confused brother.
“Humm… that’s weird! I just moved here about a month ago, I don’t even remember mentioning it to you” Jenny said. “Oh well… never mind how you got here! Let me show you around, I’m sure you’ll love it!” she said with excitement.
While they were roaming around the village, Jacob grew more curious about the place. He observed that all the women were wearing chamberlain outfits when suddenly he smelled something “What’s that smell? It smells terrible!” he complained.
“Oh! Don’t worry big bro. That’s just lunch! We all eat the same food here, and we are very popular for it” Jenny answered.
“But…but how come it smells like that? What do you guys actually eat here? Jacob asked.
So Jenny brought her big brother to the farm and then pointed to what they ate. When Jacob turned to the direction, he saw about 6 dozens of cows.
“So you eat beef. But beef isn’t supposed to smell like that!” Jacob exclaimed.
“Oh! No, no, no, big bro! We don’t eat the cows, we eat their wastes” she explained.
“What do you mean their wastes? You mean manure? How can you eat manure? Isn’t that fertilizer? They place it in plants to help them grow right?” asked the even more confused brother.
“The founders of Cowsville noticed that the cow’s manure was so healthy for the plants that they also gave it a try” Jenny clarified. “They realized after eating the manure that they felt good, healthy and strong. From then on, all they ate was manure. Manure for breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with the milk” she continued.
“WHAT? Since you live here, don’t tell me that all you eat is manure too! That’s so disgusting!” said the worried brother.
“Manure tastes great, big brother! Especially when you cook it with mixed vegetables. It’s Yum, yum, yummy! You should have a try later and join us for dinner, I’m sure you’ll eat you own words” Jenny boasted.
Jenny prepared a feast for her brother; the table was filled with varieties of sumptuous array of food made from manure. When Jacob tasted the manure, he actually liked it. Eventually, Jacob also moved to Cowsville and lived a happy life there enjoying eating cow’s manure for the rest of his life.
